Could you pick a more controversial example?

      What a wonderful way to start fresh on a new blog.
I started school about two weeks ago, it's just one class for now, Interpersonal Communications. Well, we just finished the first unit and took our test (SO EASY), but along with that, we got our first project. We're supposed to pick two or more groups of people clashing with communication and how they overcome it.
       So, as the teacher was explaining it, she used abortion as an example. Personally, I like what goes on in my reproductive organs to stay between me and them, I don't wanna know about yours either. BUT she would just not DROP IT! The faces in the class changed form bored to upset in a blink.
    I see how it makes a good example, but this is a Communications professor, one would think she would pick an example that wouldn't upset her entire class.

Maybe it's just me, but how would you guys react to it?
